In our privacy policy you will find information about how we process your personal data. The hotel’s privacy policy may be updated on an ongoing basis.

Please note that our privacy policy does not apply to personal data that you provide to any of our external partners. When you share your personal data with an organisation that is an independent data controller, the company’s privacy policy and personal data management apply.

Personal data that we collect from you
We process your personal data when it is necessary to fulfil a booking with you, respond to your request for service or when we have another legitimate and legitimate interest in processing your personal data.

Some personal data may be mandatory to provide, for example to enable us to provide a service or fulfil another request from you. This will be indicated or made clear when the data is collected. Why do we process your personal data?
We use your personal data for different purposes. The personal data we use depends on the purpose. Below are our different purposes for
personal data processing:

To be able to carry out a complete booking of hotel accommodation with us.
Disclosure of personal data to third parties, such as the police or other authorities. Processing takes place if it concerns the investigation of a criminal offence or if we are otherwise obliged to disclose such information on the basis of law or a decision by an authority.

Storage of personal data
In general, we save your data as long as the data is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which the data was collected. The data may also be saved for the time required by applicable law, for example for 7 years to fulfil the requirements of the Accounting Act.

In other cases, we will regularly review our personal data management. For example, we may delete your data if you have not been in contact with us for a long time. It is also a good idea to contact us to delete your saved data with us.

Your rights
If you wish to gain insight into your personal data processing, you have the right to request access to your data. If we receive an access request, we may ask for additional information to ensure that we are disclosing the data to the right person. You also always have the right to request the rectification of your personal data.
We will always erase your data to the extent required by applicable law and we will always do our utmost to fulfil your request for erasure.

Terms and conditions

Arrival and departure
The hotel room is at your disposal from 15.00 on the day of arrival at the latest.
On the day of departure, you must leave the room by 12.00 at the latest. 12.00.
The room is reserved for arrival no later than 18:00. 18.00. If you expect to arrive later, you must inform the hotel in advance to avoid the risk of the room being rented to another guest.

Cancellation and non-arrival.
Det är praxis i branschen att hotellen accepterar avbeställning av ett hotellrum. Följande regler gäller: Avbeställning ska ske senast kl. 18.00 dagen före ankomst. Uteblir du utan avbeställning eller avbeställer senare än kl. 18.00 så måste du betala för ett dygn.
If the hotel has incurred special costs as a result of your booking, you will be liable for these.

Departure before the agreed time
If you have booked for a specific period of time but depart before the end of this period, you will have to pay the same compensation as for late cancellation. In addition to the price for the time you stayed at the hotel, you will pay for an additional day.

Staying for an indefinite period
If you are staying at the hotel for an indefinite period and extend your stay by one day at a time, you should notify your departure by 18.00 the day before you travel. Otherwise, you will have to pay for an extra day. If the hotel can no longer allow you to use the room, you have the right to be informed by 18.00 on the day before departure.

Obligations of the hotel
If the hotel is unable to provide you with a room as agreed, you have the right to an equivalent or better room within the hotel or in a hotel of equivalent standard at no extra cost.

Your own wishes
Furnishings adapted for customers with disabilities.
Large parts of the hotel are adapted for customers with disabilities. Please specify your requirements when booking to ensure that the hotel is properly equipped and can prepare your arrival in the best possible way.
Smoking is prohibited! In case of violation of the smoking ban, the hotel has the right to charge the customer the cost of cleaning, washing textiles, etc.
Pets If you wish to bring a pet, please let us know when you book your room.
Food If you have any special requests regarding food (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.), you should state these at the time of booking.

Booking and prepayment
The hotel has the right to request a booking fee or other advance payment in order for your reservation to be binding. This amount will be deducted from the final bill. If you cancel the room without taking into account the cancellation deadline, the hotel is entitled to keep the booking fee/prepayment.

Payment
The general rule is that the hotel bill should be paid when you receive it, on arrival at the hotel. The hotel accepts the most common credit cards, please contact the hotel if you have any questions regarding payment.
However, the hotel is not obliged to accept credit cards, cheques, vouchers or foreign currency unless the hotel has offered to do so. It is therefore wise to find out in advance what the rules are.

Interest on late payments
If you delay payment, the hotel is entitled to penalty interest.

Liability for goods/theft in the hotel room
The hotel has no strict liability for the property that you keep in the hotel room or in the safe in the room. However, if it turns out that the hotel or hotel staff have acted carelessly or negligently or are otherwise responsible for the loss of property, the hotel is responsible for the lost/stolen property.

Your own safety
You should always check the location of emergency exits, alarm buttons and fire extinguishers. This information can be found on the inside of your hotel room door, in a special information binder in the hotel room or at the reception. Visita, together with the Fire Protection Association, has produced the information leaflet “Hotel Safety”. Read it – for your own safety. If you discover shortcomings in safety, we ask you to report this immediately to the reception.

Visita’s liability board – An extra security measure
For all hotels, damage caused by negligence on the part of the hotel must be compensated. However, as a customer, you are also responsible for any damage you or your guests cause within the hotel. When it comes to handling disputes between hotels and customers, there is an important difference between hotels that are members of Visita and other hotels. Visita has a Liability Board, whose decisions Visita’s member companies have undertaken to comply with. The composition of the Liability Board guarantees a qualified and objective assessment of the dispute. Visita’s Liability Board therefore means extra security for those who choose to stay at a hotel that is a member of Visita.
